This series contains cutouts and photocopies of twentieth-and early twenty-first-century catalogue entries and advertisements describing seventeenth- and eighteenth-century longcase clocks, annotated by Jeremy Evans. The files also include photographs and some related correspondence and reports.

These papers are arranged alphabetically by makers' surnames, retaining the original arrangement at the time of deposit. They were originally kept in eight multicoloured ring-binders captioned L/C [longcase clocks] but have been split into smaller files by the archivist for access and preservation purposes.
